Wall Patching with a Slirpee Straw

I patched a wall for some girls in my apartment complex and today I tried texturing with an unconventional method. You see, the wall was originally textured with a hopper (it spurts the texture on the walls) and I've never tried to imitate it before, and I quite frankly didn't know how. So I got a slirpee straw and blew the texture off of the spoon part of it. Worked pretty well, but I ended up with plaster all over my face/
